The March Of Dimes Mission
The March Of Dimes Mission is to lead the fight for the health of all moms and babies. Our goals are to end the preventable maternal health risks and deaths, end preventable preterm birth and infant death, and close the health equity gap.
Healthy Babies are Worth the Wait is a comprehensive initiative of the Foundation’s Prematurity Campaign that includes:
• An education and awareness campaign across the United States that aims to reduce early, nonmedically-dictated (elective) labor inductions and cesarean deliveries
• Hospital-based quality improvement programs that support and recognize best practices related to the reduction of early elective deliveries
• An intensive community program in 25 sites focused on prematurity prevention that integrates clinical and public health approaches
Why The March Of Dimes
Honoring One Of Belfasts Own
Our own manager, Meghan, knows first hand the impact a preterm birth can have.
Sebastian was born 14 weeks early at just 26 weeks weighing 1lb 13oz. Sebastian spent 98 days in the NICU and fought through a heart valve insufficiency (PDA), Sepsis, Scalded Skin Syndrome, 5 blood transfusions, intubation, and Retinopathy Of Prematurity.

Thanks to the many Drs and Nurses at Childrens Wisconsin and the invaluable work done through the March Of Dimes, Sebastian was able to overcome all of his obstacles.
​
The March Of Dimes Representative in the NICU helped make the hard days just a little less, and the good days that much brighter.
Today Sebastian is a healthy and happy 14 month old who loves to swing, play with his 'Teddy', and spend his days learning new things!
​
Thanks to the incredible work by The March Of Dimes we hope to be a small part of their mission to educate and learn what causes and how to prevent preterm births in the future!

2 Levels Of Tickets- 3 Ways Of Viewing The Big Race

First Level- $15 per person:
-Table in the bar area with viewing access to 17 TVs for viewing of the big event!
- 5 Raffle tickets to enter for multiple amazing prizes
- 1 free Mint Julep or Horses Neck cocktail per ticket purchase

Second Level- $25 per person:
-Table in the dining room with viewing access to our GIANT projector screen for the big race!
- 10 free raffle tickets to enter for multiple amazing prizes
